Fourth Year
  
Giving daily lectures and observed consultations during rotations for residents in first, second, third and fourth years. They are assessed weekly, monthly and yearly through oral, clinical and written exams. At the end of the fourth year, all residents (around 14 each year) are given the final exam that makes them eligible for the high specialty in family medicine, after which they can take the Jordanian Board in family medicine.

Objectives : 1- Lectures in patient centered medicine, communication skills, and cognitive skills (diagnostic process). 2- Problem solving (headache, back pain, tiredness). 3- Introduce students to the discipline of family medicine as a specialty 4- Anticipate potential health problems and provide rational health maintenance (continued of care) and disease prevention. 5- Deal efficiently with acute, chronic diseases and psychosocial problems 6- Provide comprehensive patient care in the context of family and society (whole person medicine 7- Recognize when and how to refer patients 8- Set up and maintain an efficient record system
Fifth Year
